This game has a really nice feel, I like the 1-bit style and sound effects. One thing that confused me a little at first had to do with the size meter. For whatever reason, I initially confused size with score and got somewhat frustrated when I became to big to dodge (lol).
Granted, thinking about it now I actually like the idea that the longer you last without getting hit, the more hits you can take before you lose. Though it could also be cool to see your score update in real-time.
This would work well as a mobile game with the fast, simple replayable gameplay. The 1-bit style looks great on this and with the features you listed would give the game more depth.

I really love the simplistic art style! That's definitely something I want to incorporate in more of my games.
